Postcard Harbor Tour Reviews

“Truly a “post card” view of Wellfleet Harbor and beyond. We had a great time on this lovely sail with Captain John Wolf, an expert sailor who knows the harbor and all its attractions. Nature is the star — wind, light, water, and the beautiful landscape and seascape. Highly recommended for people who are looking for a chance to experience the Cape from the harbor. (We were a family group — my husband and I and my mother who is well over 85!)”

“Great boat tour! Took a mini vacation down to Wellfleet, Ma with my wife & son and booked a boat tour to Jeremy Point with Capt. Wolf of Postcard Harbor Tours which turned out to be one of the highlights of our vacation! Our tour started off slow due to fact that Capt. Wolf had to get the boat ready to launch by removing the sail covers etc. Once we were out on the water is when the tour got rolling and we were entertained by Capt. Wolf with his various tales about his life as a musician, restaurant equipment repairman & sailing enthusiast. Capt. Wolf is a very interesting man with many talents and he made sure we had a great time sightseeing and swimming once we reached Jeremy Point which was a beautiful relaxing area! My wife stayed aboard talking with Capt. Wolf about the trials and tribulations of parenting while my son and I swam in the calm warm water. We will definitely book another tour with Capt Wolf next time we are back in Wellfleet (hopefully next summer). Book a tour with Postcard Harbor Tours and meet Capt. Wolf, you will be glad you did!”

Great Sail on Postcard Harbor Tours
“I’m not sure why this site is under the name of the boat, rather than the name of the company: Postcard Harbor Tours, but it’s the same boat and captain. My family of 3 took a sunset sail with Captain John in August in Wellfleet. He sails a Cat boat, which is a type of traditional Cape Cod sailing vessel designed for oystering. It’s a small boat (18 feet) but that was great because the 3 of us had the boat and captain all to ourselves. It was a wonderful trip and he’s a friendly, excellent guide. Well-priced for the area, too.”

“Best sailboat cruise ever. Captain John Wolf is very competent and entertaining. Knows all about the area and history. The catboat wasn’t overly bouncy, John is very safe and won’t go of conditions aren’t great. Highly recommend. We just had the two of us, but ask – I think 3-4 could work too.”

Wellfleet Wonderment!
“A cruise with John Wolf is one of Cape Cod’s hidden treasures. I am an experienced sailor myself and Captain John Wolf has it all, extremely knowledgeable and capable while being completely unpretentious. Before I could leave the dock, I was already asking him how soon we could do it again. I would challenge anyone to find me a better value for a vacation experience on the East Coast. Could not recommend it more highly.”

“Great tour company. My toddler and I enjoyed the trip and captain was very accommodating. Would use again.“

“Very interesting cruise around Wellfleet’s harbor with an experienced and knowledgeable captain. Captain Wolf knows his stuff – he was able to tell us the history of his boat, the town of Wellfleet and the maritime industry there.”
